Sr. Project Manager - Engineering

With general autonomy, this position has bottom line responsibility for the financial and technical success of the project. It has responsibility for all phases of project planning and execution on very large projects (typically less than $500 million total installed cost). The role involves planning, organizing, coordinating, and controlling domestic and international projects in accordance with established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company. The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for day-to-day contact and communication with the client, focusing on providing client satisfaction. Alternatively, the position may involve management and contract performance oversight on two or more smaller projects. The candidate should possess knowledge of the respective industry. Supervising project personnel through subordinate leaders is expected. The role may also include serving as the proposal manager for major domestic and international project proposals. This position is independently accountable for a major profit/loss center. Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Engineering and a minimum of 15 years of related experience, with an average of 20+ years, including several years at the Project Manager level.
