Responsibilities

Job Purpose
Responsible for all internal warehouse activities, including stock verification, receipt, control, and job allocation to laborers to ensure optimal productivity. Coordinate with the Store Supervisor for stock allocation to facilitate smooth receiving processes and meet production requirements.

Principal Accountabilities
  • Perform daily and monthly inventory reconciliation.
  • Follow AGRO and MRP offloading plans within the process flow.
  • Adhere to daily task checklists and tour checklists.
  • Maintain warehouse standards according to AIB guidelines.
  • Report near misses and ensure all reporting crew are informed.
  • Ensure accuracy in receiving and issuing stock.
  • Take over shift responsibilities from the previous shift, including pending work.
  • Maintain proper documentation flow and follow up.
  • Coordinate with Quality for shipment documentation and acceptance.
  • Follow up with fleet for PIT inspections and pre-maintenance with the logistics team.
  • Assign jobs to dispatchers, laborers, and forklift operators.
  • Conduct daily physical inventory counts and report findings.
  • Ensure hygiene standards are maintained according to checklists.
  • Oversee loading/unloading and ensure accuracy in blind counts.
  • Coordinate with forklift operators for storage rearrangements to facilitate FEFO procedures.
  • Handover shift details and instructions to the next shift.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and use of warehouse equipment, recording periodic maintenance.
  • Participate in continuous improvement of the EHS Management System, ensuring hazard controls and EHS targets are met.
Qualifications
  • Minimum two years in a supply chain role, preferably in warehousing or food manufacturing, with cross-functional experience advantageous.
  • Understanding of business vision and commitment to follow it.
  • Adaptability to new technologies and continuous technical skill improvement.
  • Degree in Commerce, Finance, or Technical studies.
  • Qualification in supply chain or warehousing management.
  • Self-motivated with leadership qualities and ability to implement corrective actions.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and broad planning capabilities.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
  • Motivated, enthusiastic, and able to work independently.
