Overview
The Senior Logistics Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating all logistics activities across Al‑Qadsiah Club, including accommodation, transportation, and travel planning for teams, academies, multi‑sport programs, and administrative departments. This role ensures seamless operations for home and away fixtures, domestic and international camps, and tournaments while maintaining cost efficiency, compliance, and service excellence. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Senior Logistics Manager will establish policies, oversee vendor management, and provide cross‑departmental support to ensure the highest standards of logistical readiness and execution.
Key Responsibilities
Accommodation Management
- Oversee all accommodation requirements, both long‑term (staff housing, academy dorms) and short‑term (team hotels for matches, camps, and tournaments).
- Negotiate contracts and partnerships with hotels, serviced apartments, and housing providers.
- Ensure accommodation standards meet health, safety, and comfort requirements.
- Coordinate with departments to align accommodation arrangements with team schedules and training programs.
Transportation Management
- Teams and academies buses.
- Club‑owned vehicles.
- Drivers and support staff.
- Rental cars for special requirements.
- Sponsor‑provided vehicles.
- Plan, schedule, and oversee transportation for match‑days, training, administrative needs, and official events.
- Ensure regular maintenance, licensing, and insurance compliance of all vehicles.
- Manage vendor relationships with transport providers and ensure service quality, safety, and cost control.
Team & Tournament Logistics
- Plan and execute home and away travel arrangements for all club competitions, including domestic and international matches.
- Organize logistics for summer and winter camps, ensuring seamless coordination of flights, visas, accommodation, and training facilities.
- Manage logistics for international tournaments, liaising with host organizations, embassies, and local authorities.
- Ensure contingency plans and risk assessments are in place for all trips.

Planning, Policies & Controls
- Develop logistics policies, procedures, and SOPs to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Oversee logistics budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Develop KPIs to measure logistics performance and ensure alignment with club objectives.
- Conduct regular reviews of logistics operations, identifying risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with Ministry of Sport, SAFF, and international federation regulations.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Establish and manage contracts with travel agencies, airlines, hotels, transport providers, and event organizers.
- Maintain strong relationships with external partners to secure favorable rates and reliable services.
- Collaborate with Finance, HR, Procurement, and other departments to streamline logistics operations.
Risk, Quality & Business Continuity
- Identify logistics‑related risks and implement preventive controls.
- Develop and implement a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) for logistics disruptions.
- Ensure quality assurance across all logistics activities and maintain documentation for audit and reporting.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive experience in logistics and operations management, with at least 4–5 years in a senior role.
- Proven experience managing large-scale logistics for sports organizations, events, or multinational companies.
- Strong expertise in accommodation, transportation (including buses, cars, drivers), international travel, and vendor negotiations.
- Knowledge of SAFF, SPL, and international federation travel regulations preferred.
- Experience managing budgets, contracts, and performance KPIs.
- Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.
