The Role

Responsibilities

Our client is currently looking for qualified candidates for a Sr. Legal Specialist position who will be working in Jubail having the following key responsibilities:

• Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate a broad array of complex contracts in areas such as construction, procurement, technology, and commercial operations.
• Offer specialized legal counsel to various departments on issues spanning labor laws, regulatory standards, and contractual obligations.
• Manage less complex disputes and coordinate external counsel support where necessary.
• Contribute to the development of legal risk management strategies through well-defined policies and internal controls.
• Support the implementation of sound governance principles and ensure alignment with applicable laws.
• Conduct legal research and due diligence related to corporate initiatives and key transactions.
• Coach junior legal team members and foster a collaborative working environment.
• Remain informed of regulatory developments and sector-specific legal trends impacting business operations.
  
  

The Candidate

The client is looking for candidates who meet the following specifications:

• holding a Bachelor’s degree in a related specialization
• having strong understanding of and experience with Saudi laws and regulations including commercial, corporate, and industrial manufacturing
• having strong understanding of and experience with Legal-related functions including contracts management, compliance, litigation, and mergers & acquisitions
• preference will be given for Saudi applicants
• willing to relocate to Jubail city
• having 6+ years of relevant experience in Legal, preferably in relevant industries
