Job description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the architectural design team and manage design processes from concept to completion.
2. Develop and review architectural drawings, plans, and specifications, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations.
3. Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and project managers to understand project requirements and ensure designs meet expectations.
4. Oversee design reviews, site analysis, and feasibility studies for new projects.
5. Provide technical expertise in the design of commercial, residential, and mixed-use buildings.
6. Ensure design solutions are innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective while adhering to project timelines and budgets.
7. Manage and mentor junior architects and engineers, providing guidance and support.
8. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers to integrate architectural designs seamlessly.
9. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure the design is being executed correctly.
10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new materials, technologies, and local building codes.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field.
2. Proven experience (8+ years) as an Architectural Design Engineer, with a focus on large-scale projects.
3. Strong portfolio showcasing previous design work, including commercial, residential, or mixed-use developments.
4. Extensive experience with architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and BIM.
5. Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards in Saudi Arabia.
6. Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
