Job summary

Geidea in Riyadh seeks a Senior IT Internal Auditor to lead technology audit programs, covering cybersecurity, data privacy, business continuity, and IT controls. You will assess risk, design audit programs, and present findings to senior management.

Requires 4–7 years in IT auditing, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and professional certifications such as CISA or Security+. Fintech/telecom experience is preferred; join a dynamic team driving risk mitigation and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of overall experience with at least 2 years in IT internal auditing.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience in fintech, banking, or telecommunications is desirable.
• Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or CISA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform technology audits covering cybersecurity, data privacy, business continuity, IT application controls, IT planning, implementation, operations, contract evaluations and architecture.
• Conduct follow-up on previously identified observations.
• Assist in onboarding vendors and updating internal audit governance documentation.
• Evaluate control design and operating effectiveness; document procedures and flowcharts; develop queries or data extraction scripts; benchmark against best practices.
• Develop audit programs and RCM; communicate results through reports and presentations.
• Conduct process reviews via stakeholder interviews, data validations, and document analysis.

Job purpose:

Responsible for audit activities, including the execution of internal audits, monitoring the resolution of outstanding observations, and presenting findings to senior management. The role entails identifying and evaluating risks, formulating tailored recommendations, and conducting audits to strengthen risk mitigation, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Independently perform Technology audits covering Cybersecurity, Data privacy, Business Continuity, IT Application controls, IT Planning, Implementation, Operations, Contract evaluations, Architecture etc.
• Conduct Follow-up activity on the observations previously identified.
• Support in administrative activities such as onboarding vendors, updating Internal Audit governance documentation, and maintaining audit tools.
• Evaluate control design and operating effectiveness, document standard operating procedures and flowcharts, develop queries or scripts to extract data as needed, and benchmark functions against best practices.
• Develop relevant audit programs & procedures including Risk & Control Matrix (RCM). Communicate the results of assignments through written reports and oral presentations on a timely basis.
• Conduct process reviews through stakeholder interviews, data validations, and document analysis.

Must have technical/professional qualifications:

• 4 to 7 years of overall experience, with a minimum of 2 years specifically in IT internal auditing.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in the fintech, banking, or telecommunications sectors is highly desirable.
• Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or CISA are preferred.
