Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee key accounting functions, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and support month-end and year-end closing processes. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of accounting principles and the ability to manage complex financial data with accuracy and integrity.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports

  • Manage general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial transactions

  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closings

  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes

  • Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and intercompany balances

  • Support internal and external audits by providing relevant documentation
  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws and VAT filings

  • Monitor and report on cash flow, expenses, and budget variances

  • Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial processes and reporting improvements
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is preferred

  • 4 -6 years of relevant accounting experience

  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS or local GAAP)

  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Tally)

  • Advanced Excel skills and attention to detail

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
