Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain full stack web applications with a focus on performance, security, and scalability
• Implement backend APIs using Laravel and create rich, interactive UIs using Vue.js and Inertia.js
• Design, optimize, and manage complex relational database schemas (e.g., MySQL), including writing and fine-tuning advanced queries and stored procedures
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code that adheres to best practices and coding standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to application performance, security vulnerabilities, and system scalability
• Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver user-focused solutions
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards
• Integrate third-party services and APIs, ensuring seamless and secure data flow
• Maintain a 360° view of the product — understanding not just the code, but how it impacts users, performance, and business outcomes
• Partner with Product Owners and Designers to refine features for technical feasibility, scalability, and user impact

Qualifications

• Required Qualifications:
• 6+ years of full-stack development experience, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, production-ready software
• Expert proficiency with Laravel and its ecosystem
• Demonstrable experience with database design, normalization, indexing, and optimization techniques for relational databases
• Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js preferred; React, Angular, or Svelte are valued)
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, relational database optimization, and application security best practices
• Experience with Git, and collaborative development practices
