Job description

At Sandridge Crafted Foods, we don’t just make food—we craft it. From our fresh refrigerated meals to our clean-label approach, we’re all about flavor, innovation, and doing things the right way. We’re a family-owned company (for over 60 years!) that believes quality should never be compromised, and neither should your career.

We’re looking for a Senior FSQA Manager who lives and breathes food safety and knows how to make quality assurance more than just a checklist. If you’ve got big ideas, love a good data dive, and don’t shy away from rolling up your sleeves, keep reading.

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

  1. Leading the Charge: Head up our food safety and quality teams across shifts and departments, mentoring a high-performing group that keeps our standards sky-high.
  2. Owning Compliance: From HACCP to SQF to GMPs and everything in between, you’ll ensure we’re not just meeting standards—we’re setting them.
  3. Audit Jedi: Be our go-to for customer, third-party, and regulatory audits. You’ll keep us audit-ready 24/7, not just when the clipboard comes out.
  4. Problem-Solving Pro: Tackle non-conformances and customer complaints with root cause analysis that actually gets to the root—and implement solutions that stick.
  5. Data Detective: Dive into micro testing, trends, and KPIs to make smart decisions and push continuous improvement.
  6. Collaboration Station: Work hand-in-hand with Operations, R&D, Procurement, and Supply Chain to keep our quality integrated at every step of the process.
  7. System Builder: Own and evolve our allergen control, sanitation, traceability, and recall programs.
  8. Culture Creator: Help make quality and food safety part of our DNA, not just something posted on the wall.
Qualifications

What You Bring to the Table

Must-Haves:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
  2. 7+ years of experience in a food manufacturing quality and safety role.
  3. HACCP certified, SQF Practitioner, PCQI—you’ve got the credentials, and you know how to use them.
  4. You’ve led teams before and know how to bring out the best in people.
  5. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations (FDA, USDA, GFSI) and how they apply on the floor.
  6. You communicate clearly, act decisively, and aren’t afraid of a little (or a lot of) responsibility.

Nice-to-Haves:

  1. Experience in ready-to-eat, refrigerated, or perishable food production.
  2. Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement chops.
Compensation

$100,000 - $150,000 yearly

Why You’ll LOVE Working Here:
  1. Competitive pay with the potential for extra earnings on select shifts

  5. Employee discounts – because who doesn’t love a good deal on delicious food?
