The center of Alfanar’s industrial activities is the Alfanar Industrial Complex in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh.

Spread across 700,000 square meters, it houses Alfanar’s facilities, including a data and communication center and a commercial zone.

Job Purpose

Execute procurement activities including sourcing, contracting, and supplier development, as well as purchasing requested materials, services, assets, MRO, and general procurement with the right specifications, price, quality, and delivery time from the right source.

Key Accountability Areas
  • Develop suppliers to meet objectives related to cost saving, delivery performance, and material quality.
  • Execute sourcing and contracting plans based on AED sourcing strategy.
  • Perform regular supplier performance evaluations and establish supplier development plans.
  • Maximize contracted items within scope with the best approved suppliers to secure prices, delivery, payment terms, and quality, while saving cycle time.
  • Ensure compliance with commercial, legal, and contractual standards.
  • Understand detailed requirements for each purchase request and coordinate with relevant teams.
  • Manage purchase requests through RFx processes from approved suppliers.
  • Negotiate purchase conditions considering specifications, delivery time, and costs.
  • Initiate alternative material specifications based on market availability.
  • Compare quotations considering commercial and delivery terms.
  • Select suppliers and issue purchase orders based on criteria.
  • Ensure purchase orders include all necessary documentation.
  • Follow approval processes and send orders to suppliers.
  • Monitor delivery schedules and manage order closure and payments.
  • Contribute to procurement activities with coordination from commodity heads.
  • Maintain and update vendor master information.
  • Manage non-conformity processes for rejected materials and lead corrective actions.
  • Visit and evaluate suppliers for prequalification and development.

Academic Qualification
