A leading retail group in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Sr. Director of Logistics to take ownership of its nationwide logistics and distribution strategy. This is not just an operational role — we’re looking for a visionary leader who can design, build, and scale a logistics network that supports long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee all logistics functions including warehousing, transportation, fleet, and distribution center operations
• Manage and develop a team of senior logistics and DC leaders across multiple sites
• Drive the long-term logistics strategy — including expansion planning, new network design, and infrastructure scaling
• Deliver improvements in cost, efficiency, delivery performance, and service levels
• Lead and execute large-scale logistics transformation projects (WMS, TMS, ERP integration)
• Collaborate with key departments (supply chain, procurement, commercial, e-commerce) to align logistics with business goals
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks while driving innovation and continuous improvement

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 10+ years of hands-on logistics leadership, with deep experience in distribution center and transport operations
• Proven success in developing and executing logistics expansion plans and network redesign
• Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to plan years ahead while managing current ops
• Background in high-volume retail, FMCG, or large-scale logistics environments
• Familiar with modern logistics tech (WMS, TMS, ERP) and data-driven operations
• International exposure or experience with top-tier global retailers is a strong advantage
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and project management capabilities
