Operating under the Saudi Arabian Motorsport Federation and the Ministry of Sports, SMC is responsible for hosting and promoting major events like the Formula 1 STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, Dakar Rally, and Extreme E series, and World Rally Championship.

Position Title: Sponsorships Supervisor

Department: Sponsorships - Commercial

Reports to: Sponsorships Director

Role Description

The Reseller/Sponsorship Supervisor will be responsible for developing and managing reseller partnerships and sponsorship opportunities for various events, including Saudi Arabian Grand Prix (Formula 1). This role requires strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of the market, and the ability to build relationships that drive revenue growth.

Role Accountabilities

Partnership Development:

  • Identify and engage potential resellers and sponsors that align with project goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing partners to ensure mutual success.

Sponsorship Management:

  • Create sponsorship opportunities and packages tailored to attract and retain sponsors.
  • Manage the sponsorship lifecycle, including contract negotiation, activation, and reporting.

Market Research:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential partnership opportunities.
  • Analyze data to inform strategies for engaging and retaining resellers and sponsors.

Project Support:

  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure that reseller and sponsorship strategies align with overall project objectives, including SAGP.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to promote sponsorship opportunities and enhance partner visibility.

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Prepare regular reports on partnership performance, sponsorship success, and market trends for stakeholders.
  • Utilize insights to refine partnership strategies and improve outcomes.

Event Coordination:

  • Assist in coordinating events related to sponsorship and reseller activities, ensuring high visibility and engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing.
  • 6 years’ experience in commercial operations, sponsorships, partnership, and/or business development.
  • Experience working in events marketing, sales and business development, sponsorships and partnerships is a preference.
  • Familiarity with sponsorship and reseller best practices and market trends.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and project management software.
