DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual with experience in Business analytics and Programs to support Amazon’s MENA Ultra Fast Grocery team. This role will focus on gathering and analyzing metrics data, assisting with daily operations, stakeholder management, and driving visibility to leaders. As a Speed Owner, you will leverage your analytical skills, knowledge of operational metrics, and experience working with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and ensure the smooth execution of initiatives.

Key job responsibilities

1. Metrics Data Analysis & Reporting:
   • Collect and analyze key performance metrics to drive insights, improve promise calculation, and speed performance.
   • Identify trends and performance gaps, working closely with data teams and pushing cross-functional teams to recommend and implement solutions.
   • Manage relationships and support collaboration with operations teams to ensure alignment with business goals and desired customer experience.
   • Work on cold starting models of stores to display correct promises.

Internal Communication:

• Lead the creation and execution of weekly business reviews highlighting key updates, project milestones, and operational insights.
• Ensure communication is clear, concise, and engaging for leadership.

Documentation and Process Improvement:

• Develop clear and detailed documentation for processes, reports, and operational workflows.
• Create Speed bridges that clearly explain the gap between goals and performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Partner with business leaders, tech teams, and operations to identify and implement improvements.
• Provide support to senior project managers with actionable insights to drive decision-making and operational efficiencies.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field.
• 5+ years of experience with Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, Power Pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau.
• 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights.
• Proficiency with SQL.
• Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience as a business analyst, data analyst, or similar role.
