Role :

The Specifications Engineer promotes the company’s product specifications to engineering consulting firms while also undertaking the responsibility to cater to the leads generated through the consultants to achieve revenue and business growth targets.

Responsibilities :

Specifications Marketing:

- Promote the company’s product specifications to engineering consulting companies.

- Conduct technical presentations and educational sessions to consultants on product applications.

- Ensure inclusion of the company’s products in project specifications and tender documents.

- Offer design solutions and insights tailored to consultants' project needs, facilitating seamless integration of specifications.

Lead Conversion and Sales Support :

- Follow up on leads generated through consulting firms to maximize revenue opportunities.

- Collaborate with Area Sales Managers to ensure effective lead nurturing and conversion into sales.

- Provide consultants with actionable specifications and offer solutions to address client-specific challenges during sales discussions.

Customer and Consultant Engagement :

- Build and maintain strong relationships with engineering consultants and key customers to enhance market presence.

- Act as the primary liaison for consultants, addressing technical queries and providing ongoing support.

- Assist in contract and pricing negotiations to secure favorable terms for the company.

Market Analysis and Feedback :

- Gather and analyze market insights, trends, and competitor activities to refine marketing and specification strategies.

- Provide actionable feedback to internal teams for product development and improved market positioning.

Cross-Functional Collaboration :

- Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, and Engineering) to align efforts for promoting specifications and closing sales.

- Ensure a smooth handover of project specifications and leads to the sales execution team, ensuring continuity and customer satisfaction.

Reporting and Documentation :

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of consultant interactions, specification submissions, and lead management activities.

- Prepare detailed reports on specification marketing performance, lead conversions, and overall sales contributions.
