Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated physiotherapy specialist to join our Smart Clinic. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role and be responsible for delivering general and specialized physiotherapy services at the clinic. By providing personalized care and rehabilitation support, the physiotherapist contributes to the overall well-being and functional independence of patients. The primary purpose of this role is to assess, plan, treat, and manage the physical health needs of patients in a facility care setting, enabling them to achieve optimal mobility, function, quality of life, and recovery from physical injuries, illnesses, post-surgeries, or disabilities.

Patient Assessment and Diagnosis

Conduct thorough assessments of patients to diagnose physical limitations, impairments, and functional abilities.

Treatment Planning and Implementation and Rehabilitation Support

Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient needs, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team. Administer physiotherapy techniques, exercises, and interventions to improve mobility and relieve pain effectively. Provide ongoing rehabilitation support to patients, monitoring their progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

Progress Monitoring and Adjustment

Regularly monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary for optimal outcomes. Communicate with patients and their families to provide updates on progress and modifications to the treatment plan.

Patient Education

Educate patients on therapeutic exercises, self-management techniques, and preventive measures. Provide clear and understandable instructions to empower patients in their recovery process.

Collaboration with Healthcare Team

Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.

Documentation and Record Keeping

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting treatment plans and progress notes. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies regarding documentation.

Professional Development

Stay informed about advancements in physiotherapy techniques, research, and technology. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Skills

In-depth knowledge of musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions and their impact on functional mobility. Proficient in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Excellent documentation and reporting abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
