Job description

Job Purpose:
Red Sea Global (RSG), AMAALA, is looking for experienced Transportation Dispatchers who will be part of a bigger process ensuring transportation services runs smoothly by coordinating with drivers, providing precise information to follow along on their day, routes, coordinating transfer needs and /pick-up times.
This position will require significant liaison with planners and maintenance to see which vehicles are available and when out-of-service ones will be returned to the fleet. They will communicate with drivers to ensure the trip is going as planned (when safe to do so) and have all the information needed to deliver the service.
The ideal candidate must be primarily an excellent communicator and able to remain calm and composed, especially in emergency situations. You must be able to multi-task as well as take the appropriate action with little supervision.
Job Responsibilities:
• Enter fleet and transportation services data in RSG computer system (Magenta / Echo) and maintain logs and records of calls, activities and other information.
• Check-In and Check-out drivers to/from a shift.
• Use radio, phone or computer to send driver/vehicles to appropriate locations.
• Receive emergency and non-emergency calls from drivers and record significant information.
• Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions.
• Monitor the route and status of active services to coordinate and prioritize their schedule.
• Provide driver with information about orders, traffic, obstacles and requirements.
• Check-In and Check-out drivers based on approved schedule.
• Knowledge of Saudi Arabia traffic and road law & regulations.
• Always adhere to all relevant regulations and work instructions of RSG and relevant subsidiaries, as well as comply with those tasks provided by the Line Manager, Supervisor or Team Leader.
Qualification and Experience:
• Applicant must be 25 years old or above.
• Proven experience as dispatcher or similar position of minimum of 3 years.
• Minimum of High School diploma is required.
• Tech-savvy with knowledge of fleet management system.
• Fast typing with experience in data entry.
• Knowledge of depot and fleet procedures and guideline for emergency situations.
• Proficient in English (oral and written), Arabic proficiency is a nice to have.
• Be a driver and have a valid driver s license - preferable.

• Sound judgement and critical thinking.
• Good grooming and personal hygiene with clean and proper dress as instructed by the employer.
• Calm, rational behavior and attitude under stressful driving conditions are attributes of a professional , as are refraining from inappropriate or abusive language and gestures
• Familiar with any Apps used in vehicle for guidance and control while on tour.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to work during evenings, on weekends, and on public holidays, as required.
• Comply with all work instruction provided by the Team Leader, Supervisor or Line Manager, including other tasks such as after-care vehicle yard work, etc.
• Strictly follow the assigned shift schedule
