Overview
Experienced HR Government Relations to manage and strengthen relationships with government entities in Saudi Arabia. This role ensures compliance with Saudi labor laws, Saudization policies, and HR initiatives while supporting the company with accurate reporting, government transactions, and strategic analysis.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit monthly Saudization reports for all business units and entities.
- Compare and reconcile Saudization data across GOSI, Muqeem, Ministry of Labor, and Oracle.
- Track Saudization percentages, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit a monthly Tawteen report for all company entities, highlighting progress, challenges, and compliance levels.
- Support business units in meeting Saudization targets and addressing government requirements.
- Register employees in HRDF (Hadaf) programs and monitor program updates.
- Upload and authenticate employment contracts in Qiwa.
- Manage and renew residency permits (Iqamas), exit/re-entry visas, and other immigration processes through Muqeem.
- Monitor and maintain company profiles and subscriptions on GOSI, Qiwa, Muqeem, MOL, HRDF.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Labor Law, Saudization (Nitaqat), and Tawteen initiatives.
- Stay updated with regulatory changes and communicate necessary adjustments to HR and management.
- Follow up and coordinate with Finance to ensure timely settlement of GOSI contributions, work permit fees, Iqama renewals, government charges, and any related amounts.
- Conduct and document labor-related investigations when required.
- Conduct training sessions for HRBP on updates in government regulations and platforms.
- Review and follow up with the Passport Authority (Jawazat), the Ministry of Labor, and any other relevant government entities to ensure timely processing of company and employee-related transactions.
- Visit any Government entity if required to finalize any related tasks and matters.
- Identify and develop innovative practices to enhance compliance and efficiency in government relations.
Qualifications
- University Degree in Human Resources or any related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years’ experience in Government Relations
- Communication Skills: Excellent (Arabic/English) verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with government entities and internal stakeholders.
- Saudi Labor Laws: In-depth knowledge of labor laws and regulations, including Saudization (Nitaqat) and Tawteen initiatives.
- Government Relations: Understanding of the processes and requirements for interacting with government entities such as GOSI, Muqeem, and the Ministry of Labor.
- Data Management: Proficiency in data reconciliation and reporting, particularly related to Saudization and labor metrics.
- HR Technology: Familiarity with HR systems (e.g., Oracle, Qiwa) and government platforms to manage employee registrations and compliance.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ability to identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and identify trends or gaps in compliance.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in reporting and data management.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to address issues and recommend improvements proactively.
- Training and Development: Skills in conducting training sessions for HR Business Partners on regulatory updates.
