Job summary

KBR, Inc invites a Senior Specialist Engineer (Reliability) to support RAM analysis across ADNOC assets, bringing 12+ years in reliability engineering. You will interpret asset data from SAP/Maximo and lead RAM studies for mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and process systems.

You will develop maintenance strategies, guide RCAs, review PM histories, and ensure alignment with ADNOC Offshore safety policies while mentoring teams and communicating findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years in RAM analysis and reliability engineering.
• Experience with RCAs and FMEA/RCMs, PM optimization, and asset criticality.
• Offshore experience and ADNOC or major operators preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead RAM analysis for plant systems and equipment across ADNOC assets.
• Facilitate RCAs and provide structured recommendations to prevent recurrence.
• Develop, validate and optimize maintenance strategies using RAM methods and FMEA/RCMs.
• Review PM history and re-engineer PM strategies for effectiveness and efficiency.

Specialist Engineer (Reliability) Mechanical (Rot & Static) / Instrumentation (I&C, F&G, Telecom) / Process Engineering & Process Safety Division

KBR is looking for Specialist Engineers to support the SMS Reliability Analysis Services Project, Adnoc, Abu Dhabi.

Summary Expert in a specific area of engineering, often with extensive experience and knowledge in that field.

Ability to interpret asset performance data and present findings to stakeholders.

Lead and perform Reliability, Availability, Maintainability (RAM) analysis for plant systems and equipment across ADNOC assets.

Monitor and assess key performance indicators such as MTTR, MTBF, Availability, and other reliability indices through validated data sources (e.g., SAP, Maximo).

Develop, validate, and optimize equipment-specific maintenance strategies and preventive maintenance programs using RCM, FMEA/FMECA, including asset criticality assessment, and ensuring alignment with ADNOC Offshore policies, safety requirements (SIL), and industry best practices.

Facilitate and lead Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and provide structured recommendations to prevent recurrence of failures.

Review existing preventive maintenance (PM) history and execution data to re-engineer and optimize PM strategies for effectiveness, efficiency, and alignment with actual field practices.

Experience: Minimum 12 years of Extensive experience in RAM analysis, measurement of reliability, facilitation of RCAs and FMEA/RCMs, PM optimization, and asset criticality preferably with Adnoc or other major operators.

Offshore experience is a plus.

Qualifications: Bachelors or masters degree in mechanical, Electrical, Control, Corrosion, Metallurgy process or related Engineering field.

CRE - Certified Reliability Engineer CMRP - Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional Certified Oil and Gas Maintenance Engineer Certification in the field of Reliability Engineering from reputed organization / Societies
