Solutions Engineer (Construction/ Infrastructure)

Location: Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia (Hybrid)

Travel will be expected around 50% a month mostly within Saudi Arabia

Position Summary

Our Solution Engineering team partners with sales to showcase Bentley solutions to major global organizations. As a Solution Engineer, you will understand customer requirements, prepare content and datasets, deliver value driven product and solution presentations, and communicate this knowledge within the organization.

Your role bridges Bentley technologies with customer needs, supporting our Account Advancement, User Advancement, and Product Advancement teams to contribute to the growth of ARR and usage of Bentley products.

Responsibilities

  • Promote Bentley solutions to infrastructure audiences.
  • Create presentations, deliver demonstrations, showcasing Bentley applications and solutions covering the Infrastructure Industry to a wide audience from C level executives through to end users .
  • Conduct and/or support Discovery sessions, as required, define solution requirements that deliver against our accounts’ objectives.
  • Support sales and marketing events.
  • Provide feedback to Product Teams via established channels to improve products and collaborate with Product Teams on updates.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitors along with proactively researching and understanding infrastructure industry standards, recommending product configurations.
  • Demonstrate the value of our technical solutions to designers, engineers, architects, contractors and owners, and help them achieve or exceed their business goals.
  • Connect with relevant stakeholders and users in the account during engagements and gather account-specific intelligence, feedback, and insights and share with the account team for incorporation into account strategy and plans.
  • Support sales opportunities and account planning, execute the Bentley Sales Process, and use Salesforce to communicate key activities.
  • Support a smooth transition to Services engagements through knowledge sharing.
  • Support in the delivery of training, as required.
  • Foster a culture of “One Bentley” and collaborating with internal stakeholders in a manner that benefits our accounts.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Infrastructure, Construction or a related field
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in Construction or Infrastructure delivering large scale projects in the capacity of a Project Manager, BIM Manager, Construction Planner or similar or current experience as a Solution Engineer supporting Infrastructure engineering solutions within the AEC industry
  • Experience of pre-sales within the construction or infrastructure industry preferred
  • Strong presentation, and demonstration skills to engage stakeholders and customers at varying levels or seniority
  • Ability to explain complex solutions to audiences of all levels of knowledge and seniority.
  • Independent judgment, creativity, and strong problem-solving skills using data to drive decisions.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new complex products.
  • Experience of Synchro 4D would be a distinct advantage
  • Effectively collaborate with teams leveraging communication and project management methods to define objectives and deliver focus.
  • Knowledge of Bentley Systems solutions preferred.
