Your Responsibilities
Ensure comprehensive service offerings across the product lifecycle within the Mining Industry, including Technical Services (TS). Develop go-to-market proposal strategies for TS in collaboration with relevant teams.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage customer relationships and their mill liners throughout the product lifecycle
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the region
- Present solutions to customers in the Middle East
- Provide feedback on customer needs and market intelligence
- Maintain opportunities in the CRM system
- Monitor industry updates and changes in the product landscape
- Perform liner scanning, attend installations on customer sites, review data, and provide feedback
- Collaborate closely with product line, engineering, and sales teams across FLSmidth
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Support the proposal department with complex solutions
- Contribute to strategies for development, go-to-market, and supply chain for Technical Services
- Estimate sales support needs, including training and sales materials
- Provide tools and services to enhance productivity
- Gather, monitor, and analyze market trends and competition
- Act as the voice of the customer to ensure services meet or exceed expectations
- Define services marketing strategies and support regional marketing efforts
- Promote a culture of safety among individuals and teams
- Monitor liner performance and customer trends
- Train internal teams and customers on mill lining according to specific demands
- Support liner selection to optimize technical and commercial options for competitiveness
- Participate in developing new products or optimizing existing ones for better performance, quality, and cost
- Assist manufacturing units with specifications, cost reduction, and customer claims
Qualifications
- A relevant tertiary qualification, ideally in mechanical engineering
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in grinding processes
- Solutions sales experience
