Job summary

DXC Technology seeks a Lead Solution Architect - Network to own the network architecture for the airport campus, including LAN, WAN, wireless, data center and OT connectivity. The role drives design, standards and secure connectivity for 24/7 operations.

You will lead a team of network architects/engineers, engage with stakeholders and vendors, and ensure resilient, high-performance networks critical to aviation operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Networking or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Network and/or cloud networking certifications strongly preferred.
• Experience with enterprise/campus network architectures on large programs.

Role Purpose

The Lead Solution Architect - Network owns the network architecture across the airport campus - LAN, WAN, wireless, data center, and connectivity to operational technology, systems and stakeholders.

The role leads network design and standards, ensuring highly available, secure, high-performance connectivity that underpins safety- and security-critical airport operations 24/7.

Key Responsibilities

Network Architecture

• Network architecture: Extensive experience in enterprise/campus network architecture on large, complex programs.
• Technologies: Deep knowledge of LAN/WAN/wireless, data center networking, SD-WAN and segmentation.
• Availability & performance: Designing highly available, high-performance, resilient networks.
• Security: Strong grasp of network security and secure connectivity.
• Leadership & communication: Ability to lead a team and engage stakeholders/vendors.

Security & Operations

• Embed network security (segmentation, zero-trust principles, secure connectivity) into designs.
• Ensure resilience, monitoring and manageability for 24/7 operations.
• Support integration with cyber, infrastructure and OT domains.

Leadership & Delivery

• Lead and mentor network architects/engineers; govern network design quality.
• Support estimation, planning and risk for the network domain.
• Engage stakeholders, vendors and operations teams.

Skills & Experience
