Overview:

The Software Release Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end release management lifecycle for software and platform deployments within ADC’s operational ecosystem. This includes planning, coordination, testing validation, and release governance for software components across infrastructure, OSS/BSS, and customer-facing systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the software release calendar in coordination with development, QA, and operations teams.
• Lead release planning sessions, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on scope, timeline, and testing coverage.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and regulatory requirements during software releases.
• Manage release documentation, including checklists, release notes, rollback plans, and post-release analysis.
• Oversee the integration of automated deployment pipelines and CI/CD frameworks to increase release frequency and reliability.
• Act as the point of contact during release windows, ensuring communication and escalation are handled effectively.
• Drive continuous improvement in release management processes, tools, and controls.
• Conduct release reviews and support audits related to software lifecycle governance.
