Software Product Owner

Job Responsibilities

1. Lead the planning, development, and delivery of software products, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
2. Define product vision, goals, and roadmap based on market research, customer feedback, and business objectives.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to drive product development and launch.
4. Manage the product backlog, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer needs and business value.
5. Conduct regular product reviews and iterate on product features based on feedback and performance metrics.
6. Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates on product status and addressing any concerns.
7. Develop detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria to guide the development team.
8. Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to ensure product relevance and competitiveness.
9. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create go-to-market strategies and product positioning.
10. Monitor and evaluate product performance, leveraging data to inform decisions and maximize product success.
11. Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity within the product team.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in software development.
3. Strong understanding of software development processes and Agile methodologies.
4. Proven ability to define and articulate a product vision and strategy.
5. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
6. Experience with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Aha!, Trello).
7. Data-driven decision-making skills with the ability to analyze metrics and market insights.
8. Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
9. Certifications in product management (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)) are a plus.
