Title: Social Media Community Manager

Reports To: Head of Social

Summary

The Social Media Community Manager is an online content enthusiast, who believes in the power of social media and is up to date with online trends. He/She will be responsible in handling social media presence, produce and publish content for clients and assist in executing online campaigns. The ability to manage time, handles projects, initiate and complete new tasks and fulfil requirements pertaining to content and social media.

Responsibilities

Culture:

  • Understands Muse as a company and its philosophy; brings the Muse values to life.
  • Has a working knowledge of all Muse tools and the credentials and processes of partner companies.
  • Understands the roles and responsibilities of other Agency teams (including Creative, Media, Strategic Planning and PR) and manages their involvement appropriately.
  • Builds relationships not just with Muse team but with all other departments.
  • Constantly strives to achieve company goals with passion and energy and work to achieve their full potential

Main role:

  • Real time community management (occasionally out of hours) for some of the region's largest social media communities on a variety of social media platforms.
  • Content planning and production, including visual content.
  • Developing creative ideas for social media applications and activations; working with wider digital and design teams and suppliers to turn them into live integrated campaigns.
  • You will need to come up with and present ideas that will generate a buzz or contribute good submissions, even without waiting for a client's brief.
  • Relationship Manager: Must be hyper vigilant with all our social communities to address any issues, be able to ascertain various levels of issues (urgent/non urgent) and respond in an appropriate, agency-approved way.
  • Performance Evaluation: Be ready to be able to track your content strategy with metrics and evaluate the growth and performance and take appropriate next steps.
  • Reporting on all social media campaigns using native analytics tools.
  • Liaising with external agencies and suppliers including designers, developers and media.
  • Monitoring competitors and the wider social media industry to learn best practice; sharing insights and acting as a source of social media knowledge.
  • Participates in new business and client presentations. Proactively seeking new opportunities to contribute to the social team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years associated experience in an agency environment, running social media communities for Arab/regional brands, preferably with a powerful public footprint.
  • Social Media content production and planning.
  • Experience using social media reporting tools and analyzing data to find insights beyond the statistics.
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Self-starter, taking initiative, anticipating needs, and getting stuff done.
  • Possess excellent spelling, grammar, punctuation, and overall communication skills (both oral and written in Arabic and English).
  • Strong writing for social skills. Looking for casual, engaging writing style.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • AI creative tools literacy.
  • GCC experience.
