Who You Are

We are looking for a remotely-based Social Manager to join our growing Entertainment team. If you enjoy crafting engaging social posts, briefing video content, attending shoots, and creating scroll-stopping campaigns, this role is for you! The work on this account is diverse.

You will manage always-on social assets for a financial services client, working across platforms to engage audiences and make an impact. Collaboration is essential—you'll work closely with client servicing, video production, and motion graphics/video editing teams to execute social content plans. Responsibilities include participating in brainstorms, briefing animations, attending video shoots, working on event coverage, and storyboarding ideas, with relevant experience preferred.

Your main tasks will include managing client briefs from start to finish, liaising directly with clients to understand their needs, project managing through our system, and ensuring smooth processes.

What you'll do
  1. Create content calendars aligned with brand strategy and objectives.
  2. Develop storyboards for video content and ideas for briefs.
  3. Write creative captions that tell stories and target specific demographics.
  4. Coordinate with different departments to ensure briefs, outputs, and strategies maximize engagement and align with brand vision.
  5. Plan and develop ad hoc campaigns, researching and building on opportunities, generating creative social execution ideas for relevant platforms.
  6. Monitor performance, generate insightful reports, and track KPIs with the data team.
  7. Identify trends and convert them into actionable briefs for content creators to keep the brand relevant.
  8. Implement the Tactical Social Playbook, maintaining and developing channel strategy, tone of voice, feed experience, and brand personality across social channels.
What you bring
  1. Over 3 years of experience working in Social Media (entertainment industry experience is a plus).
  2. Deep knowledge of content best practices on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, X, Snapchat, etc.
  3. Excellent English and Arabic copywriting skills.
  4. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  5. Passion for working with video content, providing feedback to editors, and managing multiple deliverables.
  6. Experience with social shoots, including idea generation and oversight.
  7. Good sense of design and content that drives engagement.
  8. Self-motivated with effective time management skills.
  9. Proactive, initiative-taking, and committed to continuous improvement.
