Site Civil Engineer

Job Title: Site Civil Engineer - Power Plant / Industrial Projects

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Civil Engineer to support the design, execution, and supervision of civil works on power plants or industrial infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of civil/structural engineering principles and hands-on experience in site activities, project coordination, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all civil and structural activities at the project site, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Ensure timely execution of civil works including foundations, RCC structures, piling, and site development.
• Monitor progress and prepare daily/weekly reports related to civil works.
• Coordinate with design consultants, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control in all civil works.
• Manage site logistics related to civil activities.
• Evaluate subcontractor performance and adherence to scope, schedule, and standards.
• Support the project team in managing resources, procurement, and contractor billing.
• Identify risks and propose solutions to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensure that all civil engineering work complies with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's is a plus).
• 5-9 years of experience in civil engineering within power generation or industrial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, soil investigation, RCC & steel structures, and infrastructure development.
• Familiar with codes like ACI, ASTM, BS, and other international standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, MS Project, and other engineering tools.
• Strong communication, leadership, and team coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities on site.
