Job description

We are looking to hire a Production Shift Supervisor to join our team at Guardian Jubail, Saudi Arabia.

Our Team

This position will be part of the plant manufacturing team.

What You Will Do

1. Lead an operational team in a safe and efficient manner, taking ownership of safety, quality, and productivity improvements.
2. Build a high-performing team by understanding individual capabilities, creating development plans, delivering coaching, and participating in hiring and retention.
3. Promote safety excellence by encouraging employee involvement, ownership, and accountability; provide safety training and meaningful training materials.
4. Facilitate team development, communication, skill development, problem solving, and employee accountability.
5. Monitor product quality and guide crew members to maximize efficiency.
6. Provide coaching, feedback, and direction to employees.
7. Assist in troubleshooting production issues.
8. Complete data entry and generate reports efficiently.
9. Conduct annual performance reviews and support individual development cycles.
10. Understand the costs and impacts of decisions on departments and processes.
11. Achieve or exceed KPI goals through process measurement and improvement.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

1. 2-3 years of supervisory experience in an operations environment.
2. Technical and mechanical aptitude for manufacturing processes, with logical and process-oriented thinking.
3. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with diverse groups.
4. Proficiency in Excel (charts, graphs, formulas) and Outlook (email management).
5. Experience leading and motivating high-performing teams.
6. Flexibility to work rotating shifts.

1. Experience in glass production or heavy industry.
