Job summary

Confidential Company is seeking a Shift and Terminal Operations lead to supervise container and cargo terminal activities, ensuring safety, productivity, service, and cost control on shift. You will monitor daily KPIs, deploy crews, and align with vessel, yard, and customs operations.

Successful candidates will have 10+ years in terminal/port operations, strong leadership, and experience supervising rigging teams. English is required; Arabic is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Valid Rigger 1 qualification/certification recognised by the company.
• Bachelor’s degree in port, terminal, logistics, engineering or related studies.
• Valid lifting and rigging safety training appropriate to assigned duties.
• English required; Arabic capability advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead container and cargo terminal activities during the shift with focus on safety, productivity, service and cost control.
• Review daily rosters and work allocation for efficient manpower and controlled overtime.
• Ensure vessel berthing, cargo operations and sailing align with the plan and adjust operations when conditions change.
• Oversee rigging teams, lifting operations and related safety procedures.
• Promote a positive stop-work culture and manage incident response with HSSE.
• Coordinate with Planning, Port Control, HSSE and other teams to maintain safe, efficient operations.
