Job description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Services Planning and Operations Lead to oversee all aspects of facility management services within the aerodrome of a major airport. This leadership role is essential to ensuring the efficient, effective, and compliant delivery of services in line with the Contracting Authority’s standards and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive FM Services Plan, defining resources, strategies, and processes.
  • Establish and manage an organizational structure to support operational needs across all service areas.
  • Design and deliver training programs to ensure teams are skilled and contract-ready.
  • Lead the implementation of FM policies, OH&S and Safety Management Systems, and a Quality Management System (ISO 9001).
  • Maintain compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Oversee budget management, waste management, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Submit regular performance reports and participate in stakeholder meetings.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts in collaboration with the Contracting Authority.
  • Manage the Technical Library, ensuring accurate documentation (e.g., asset registers, O&M manuals, schematics).
  • Supervise the activities of Maintenance Duty Managers (MDMs) to ensure operational consistency.
  • Enforce security measures to protect tools, materials, and infrastructure.
  • Ensure all senior staff maintain fluency in English to support clear communication.

Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in facility management services within complex environments (e.g., airports).
  • Strong knowledge of FM best practices, operations planning, and compliance standards.
  • Proven experience with team leadership, subcontractor management, and supplier coordination.
  • Proficient in CMMS/CAFM systems, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
