TECHNICIAN

WHAT TO EXPECT

As a Service Technician, we look for ambitious, forward-thinking, open-minded, and well-rounded individuals who are willing to learn and grow along with our local teams in Dammam, KSA. Located in our Dammam office, you will report to the Workshop Supervisor.

Your responsibilities include performing technical operations required for the daily functioning of the branch, such as assembling, servicing, and testing hydraulic cylinders, hoses, and fittings; interacting with customers; completing paperwork; handling cash; making purchases and sales; and managing inventory as per branch requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out repairs and service jobs of high quality in the workshop, vessels, drilling rigs, and customer job locations under supervision.
  • Overhauling and testing hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, control valves, HPU, actuators, and other hydraulic and pneumatic components.
  • Refurbishing, testing, and repairing vessel cranes, steering gear systems, and mooring winch systems at shipyards, onshore, and offshore.
  • Inspecting and testing hydraulic components and systems.

ABOUT YOU

  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, manuals, and documents.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, control valves, HPU, and other hydraulic and pneumatic components.
  • At least five years of experience in a field service role.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hydraulic components.
  • Ability to select appropriate hoses, fittings, and belts based on customer information.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Willingness to stay in company camp accommodation inside Jebel Ali.
  • ITI Vocational, Diploma, High School, or equivalent qualification.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required.
  • Willing to work hard and go the extra mile.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Employees frequently visit field sites and use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; talk or hear; stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
