Position Overview

This position reports to: Service Sales Manager Petrochemical

ABB Motion provides pioneering technology, products, solutions, and related services to industrial customers to increase energy efficiency, improve safety and reliability, and maintain precise control over processes. The portfolio includes motors, generators, and drives for a wide range of applications in all industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Penetrating into IB, promoting various upgrades, retrofits, and value-add solutions to benefit customers and ABB.
  • Understanding the channel strategy, establishing related prices, preparing sales plans, reviewing them, and proposing recovery plans when needed.
  • Generating service sales leads and developing new market opportunities by utilizing market trend information and exploring potential new service portfolios.
  • Acting as a marketer/salesperson of ABB’s service products and solutions during marketing activities (campaigns, trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, customer meetings).

Qualifications for the Role
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Strong knowledge of motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), ABB tools and products, and digital maintenance solutions. Experienced in maintenance strategies and industrial applications, with a focus on energy efficiency and process optimization.
  • Proven electrical sales experience in the Eastern Region, with prior exposure to the petrochemical industry. Deep understanding of customer operations in Jubail, including SABIC processes and key stakeholder mapping.
  • Skilled in selling motors and VFD services by leveraging technical insights and value-based solutions. Capable of identifying customer needs and delivering tailored offerings that align with industrial process requirements.
