The Function | Accountabilities
We are looking for an experienced sales professional who will work with a set of defined Named Accounts, helping them in their daily activities, offering the vast portfolio of services and products GBA can provide to them. We are passionate about our customer experience and satisfaction in every transaction, and the SSD AM plays a crucial role in selling the portfolio of services tailored to each customer's needs. Here are some of the most critical accountabilities:
- Customer satisfaction and loyalty are of paramount importance for our Service Business and are one of the key expected deliverables of the SSD AM.
- Nurture and secure the long-term success of the existing customer relationship, achieving a growing service wallet share within the current accounts. Have a documented and tailored account strategy, especially for the larger or most potential accounts.
- Make prospecting of new business and/or new accounts the main objective of daily activities by spending time meeting new customers or providing further services to existing customers.
- Drive profitable service sales order performance in the assigned accounts.
- Engage with the transactional sales team and foster collaboration across a multi-channel environment with the goal of faster customer requests turnaround time and improved customer vicinity.
- Accurately report all relevant customer interactions in the company CRM. Manage the funnel professionally, keeping it updated and readily accessible to other parts of the organization.
- Maintain a well-managed funnel capable of securing an accurate forecasting process.
- Ensure company compliance for each transaction, starting with clean and accurate order booking.
- Make SSD a strong contributor to cash generation given the nature of the business and the associated portfolio; the company looks at the service business as an effective way to generate cash vs. capital equipment business.
The Profile | Skills and Attitude
We are looking for a professional with management and leadership skills who is willing to develop his/her career in the fast-growing service business:
- Proven sales track record in the analytical or service industry in life science or applied market space.
- Capable of developing and implementing long-term sales account and coverage plans.
- Engage effectively with the customer both technically and commercially. Capable of articulating plans and situations very clearly and effectively.
- Ensure that all the established sales and internal processes (e.g., quoting process, funnel management, order acceptance, etc.) are followed systematically to secure efficient collaboration internally and with the customers.
- Can develop and articulate business propositions balancing company and customer requirements. Can feel situations and customers and translate effectively whatever is perceived into useful data that will drive decisions/actions.
- Has a genuine passion for customer satisfaction and advocates for it internally and externally in an evident and integral manner.
