Job Duties
  1. Under general supervision, professionally install cable at field site holes and spool the cable as it is pulled from the hole.
  2. Load, perform pre-trip inspections, transport cable spools from the shop to the field site, and rig up.
  3. Band cable to the tubing as it is run into the hole, splice or pack off cable, and handle pulls of cable to the spool.
  4. Unload cable at the shop and reload for the next trip.
  5. Prepare paperwork including DOT requirements, IFTA reports, billable and non-billable hours, and mileage.
  6. Perform job tasks correctly, impacting cost containment, efficiency, profitability, or operations indirectly.
  7. Develop and demonstrate a general knowledge of all cable services and related products.
  8. Develop and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of cable tools and related products.
  9. Promote safety awareness and environmental consciousness, complying with all safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
  10. Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.
