Service Engineer

Purpose

The Service Engineer will assist in managing area sales and operations activities under the supervision of the Area Portfolio Manager. Responsibilities include understanding market needs, obtaining inquiries from clients, providing quotations, negotiating with end users, and executing orders. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and strong communication to ensure efficient service delivery.

Responsibilities

Assist in Sales and Operations:

1. Support sales activities to achieve area targets.
2. Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies.
3. Monitor and report on sales performance metrics.

Market Research

1. Conduct market research to identify customer needs and trends.
2. Provide insights to the Area Portfolio Manager on industry developments.

Client Interaction

1. Respond to client inquiries and provide accurate quotations.
2. Assist in negotiating terms and conditions with end users.

Order Execution

1. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely order processing and delivery.
2. Monitor order fulfillment and address any issues that arise.
3. Ensure adherence to company policies and standards during order execution.

Technical Support

1. Provide technical assistance and support to clients.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to products and services.

Documentation

1. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, negotiations, and order details.
2. Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market analysis.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering [Electrical or Mechanical].
2. 10 years of experience in technical support or engineering roles.
3. Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
5. Fluent (Written, listen and spoken) English.
