The Role

We deliver world-class Electronic Warfare Flying Training (EWFT), both airborne and classroom-based.

The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Service Delivery Manager - KSA as part of our programme in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). This in-country business management role reports directly to the Draken Saudi General Manager (GM). The Service Delivery Manager supports the GM in managing RSAF EWFT services in KSA and provides resilience to the program by substituting for the GM when necessary. Financial support is available for those relocating.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support the EWFT General Manager in all aspects and substitute for them when unavailable.
  2. Deliver quarterly and annual performance reports for the Prime Contractor on behalf of the GM.
  3. Coordinate with the Operations Controller to produce weekly EWFT reports with sign-off from the Prime Contractor.
  4. Lead internal and external RSAF EWFT meetings, representing the programme at stakeholder meetings.
  5. Assist the RSAF EWFT UK Programme Manager with information reporting to the UK Senior Leadership Team.
  6. Manage in-country RSAF EWFT Programme Risks.
  7. Oversee RSAF EWFT Security and IT Management Plans and liaise with stakeholders in the UK and KSA.
  8. Safely manage sensitive material to security standards.
  9. Implement security processes to safeguard Draken's intellectual property.
  10. Liaise with MOB/DOBs to ensure support and security support levels are appropriate.
  11. Collaborate with UK and KSA HR teams to ensure sustainable retention and recruitment.
  12. Ensure employee welfare and compliance with Saudi legal requirements, with support from the legal team.
  13. Act as a point of contact for customer agencies on delivery and reporting.
  14. Support local HR, Finance, and Administrative functions.
  15. Develop strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to enhance satisfaction and growth.
  16. Coordinate with functional heads in Flight Ops, SHE, safety, security, and IT to implement policies.
  17. Provide regular reports for Monthly Programme Reviews and ad hoc reviews.
  18. Promote a safety-first culture and ensure operational compliance with Draken Europe SHE standards.

Experience / Skills / Qualifications

  • Relevant safety or risk management qualification.
  • Experience managing teams and operations.
  • Background in operational or training delivery, credible to RSAF customers.
  • Experience working with defence industry partners and/or in KSA or Gulf States is desirable.
  • Experience handling Protectively Marked (PM) material and producing risk assessments.
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment, preferably in the Middle East.
  • Willingness to learn project/programme management techniques and tools.
  • Proven ability to manage large, diverse teams.
  • Experience in highly regulated environments.
  • Relevant professional training and security-related experience.
