Job Summary:

The Carpenter is responsible for the construction, repair, and maintenance of all aspects of hotel woodwork, ensuring that the quality of work conforms to standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Attend to all types of construction repair and maintenance work required for hotel woodwork, furniture, and fixtures.
  • Construct, repair, and maintain hotel woodwork, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Ensure all tools and workshop equipment are functioning properly.
  • Perform responsibilities according to the standards in the Departmental Operations Manual.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide additional or specialized guest services.
  • Complete repairs as detailed in the Repair and Maintenance Requests.
  • Follow environmentally friendly practices by reducing waste, recycling, and minimizing waste whenever possible.
What We Are Looking For:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Carpenter.
  • Good knowledge of woodwork machinery utilization and maintenance.
  • Positive and proactive attitude.
