THE OPPORTUNITY

As the Senior Wet Utilities Engineer (O&M), you will be involved in one of the world’s most exciting projects, working with innovative technologies. You will collaborate with multinational, multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality services to our clients.

Project Work

This role supports the delivery of strategic projects/contracts for the Royal Commission of AlUla (RCU). Responsibilities include ensuring suppliers meet contract obligations, supporting procurement processes, and providing expertise in wet utilities infrastructure for FM/AM/City Management, including testing, commissioning, and handover activities. The role requires technical strength in design, construction, calculations, and procurement documentation, ensuring compliance and quality in utility works. The working environment will be at client/CBRE offices and on-site in AlUla.

Key Responsibilities
  • Experience with the Saudi National Water Company, NWC guidelines/regulations is essential.
  • Review infrastructure system calculations and documentation.
  • Conduct site supervision and visits, report findings.
  • Participate in meetings and workshops with clients, consultants, and authorities.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and documentation ensuring professionalism and factual accuracy.
  • Review design deliverables for compliance, quality, and efficiency.
  • Conduct Value Engineering assessments.
  • Ensure project goals, client brief, and design intent are understood and met.
  • Assist in developing departmental processes and systems.

Ideal Candidate
  • Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 10 years’ experience in a similar role, with 5+ years in the Saudi market.
  • Experience with Saudi National Water Company and NWC regulations is mandatory.
  • Registered with the Saudi Engineering Council.
  • Professional registration with a recognized Electrical Engineers Society is a plus.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic and other languages are a plus.
