Senior VP, PPP Infrastructure Project Development and Investments
We are working with a successful infrastructure investment team, which is growing its team in the MENA region.
What the job involves
- The candidate's initial sole responsibility will be as consortium lead for a large project in KSA, where the client will be the lead developer on a 6-12 month bidding process.
- Act as the lead point of contact for the Procurer, the Consortium, and all internal/external stakeholders.
- Participate actively in commercial, technical, legal, and financial workshops to guide participants toward desired outcomes.
- Lead negotiations of all key transaction documents, with support from legal counsel.
- Ensure timely submission of all bid deliverables at a high standard of quality.
- Manage the selection of and relationships with bid advisors.
- Prepare investment committee recommendations, confidently addressing technical, commercial, legal, and financial aspects.
- Understand complex project finance models and collaborate with the PF team on inputs.
- Work with internal and external project finance teams to secure and negotiate financing packages supporting transactions.
- Identify project risks and develop appropriate risk management plans.
Who we are looking for
- Experience in PPP/concession projects, with at least 2 highway/road/tunnel PPPs in a lead role (mandatory).
- Proven track record of leading transactions from bid to financial close.
- Strong understanding of legal and commercial aspects of project and transaction documentation.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker capable of analyzing risks and returns.
- Deep knowledge of project financing and debt-raising processes.
- Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
