Primary Responsibilities

As a Senior Transportation Planner / Project Manager, you will:

• Lead and manage complex, multidiscipline transportation planning and environmental compliance projects.
• Direct the preparation and analysis of transportation planning studies, reports, and compliance documents.
• Manage project teams, coordinate staffing, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality documents.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders, support business development, and represent the team in meetings and public forums.
• Participate in design development, including collaboration with technical professionals from various disciplines.
• Oversee scheduling, budgeting, and financial performance of projects.
• Conduct and participate in public outreach, agency coordination, and planning/programming efforts.
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures across multiple projects.
• Support preparation of maps, visualizations, and documentation for transportation plans and studies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Transportation Planning, Urban Planning, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years' professional experience in transportation planning.
• At least 2 years in a project management role with proven leadership.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and GIS; experience with project scheduling tools such as MS Project.
• Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, teams, and client relationships.
• Knowledge of transit planning principles and public participation strategies.
• Proven track record in business development and client engagement.
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Active participation in a collaborative, employee-owned culture.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Urban or Transportation Planning or related field.
• PMP Certification (preferred or willingness to obtain).
• AICP Certification and/or knowledge of PMI standards.
• Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
• Saudi nationality required.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in the Saudi market.

• AICP and PMP certification desired
• PMI Knowledge

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment
• May require the ability to travel
