Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a senior Traffic Management and Diversion Expert in Riyadh to lead the planning, design, and implementation of TMPs, TDPs and TTCPs for major projects. The role focuses on safe, efficient movement of traffic during construction and operation with minimal disruption to road users.

The candidate should have a minimum of 15 years in traffic engineering and detour planning, with strong leadership, coordination, and reporting skills across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Master's degree in Transportation Engineering preferred.
• Professional membership with a recognized engineering institution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of TMPs, TDPs, and TTCPs for major projects.
• Design safe traffic diversion schemes during construction.
• Develop phasing strategies to support construction sequencing.
• Provide technical oversight and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Coordinate with clients, local authorities, traffic police, contractors, and stakeholders.
