Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Telecommunications and Electronics Engineer to lead the design, integration, and implementation of advanced telecommunications and electronic systems within our engineering projects.
Responsibilities:

1. Lead Telecom design projects, including conceptualization, detailed design, and implementation, ensuring adherence to project requirements, budgets, and schedules.
2. Develop Telecom design concepts, specifications, and drawings based on client needs, applicable codes, and standards.
3. Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Telecom design software for drafting, modeling, and analysis.
4. Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate Telecom systems into overall building designs.
5. Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather information for design development and troubleshooting.
6. Review and evaluate technical proposals, specifications, and submittals from vendors and contractors.
7. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design team members.
8. Collaborate with project managers to establish project scopes, budgets, and timelines, and ensure timely delivery of design deliverables.
9. Participate in design review meetings, client presentations, and discussions to address technical issues and provide updates on project progress.
10. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Telecom engineering design.
11. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards throughout the design process.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
2. Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
3. Minimum of 10 years of experience in design engineering.
4. Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software.
5. Strong understanding of telecom engineering principles and practices.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex engineering challenges and develop innovative design solutions.
7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
8. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in design documentation and deliverables.
9. Proven track record of successfully managing the design phase of projects, from concept development to construction documentation.
10. Leadership abilities with a demonstrated capacity to mentor and develop junior staff.
11. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
