As a Senior Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring Baker Hughes can deliver flawless execution through involvement in pre-planning, job execution, and post-job analysis.

As a Senior Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  1. Ensuring compliance with Manage the Job Cycle (MtJC) process.
  2. Raising an alert across the Service Delivery organization whenever an unfamiliar technical issue arises on a job.
  3. Liaising with customers and proposing technical solutions to their intervention and stimulation challenges.
  4. Writing technical proposals for customers.
  5. Promoting new technologies to customers and finding up-selling opportunities.
  6. Following up with clients and operations for upcoming jobs.
  7. Supporting Critical Operations in the field when needed.
  8. Following up on field failures that require Technology involvement and ensuring that the learning is shared across the field.
  9. Communicating to Engineering and Technology organizations on issues and lessons learned related to different technologies.
  10. Working on proposals for tenders and new opportunities.

To be successful in this role you will:

  1. Have a bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
  2. Have an understanding of Pressure Pumping PL technology and Service Delivery requirements.
  3. Have 10 years of technical support experience in Coiled Tubing and Stimulation.
  4. Deep knowledge about CT simulation software is a must.
  5. Advanced knowledge about production enhancement is an added advantage.
  6. Have full knowledge of drilling and completion processes is an advantage.
  7. Be able to demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills.
