A leading engineering firm seeks a Senior Structural Engineer in Al-Kharj, Saudi Arabia. Responsible for overseeing façade designs, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with building codes. Candidates should have at least 15 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering. WSP is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer with minimum 15 years of experience in overall responsibility of supervision, coordination of construction, inspection, testing and commissioning for a project based in Qiddiya.
Review of façade structural designs that meet architectural vision and project requirements.
Identify and select appropriate materials, systems, and technologies for façade construction.
Review detailed drawings, specifications, and models for façade systems.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate façade solutions into overall building designs.
Oversee the installation and commissioning of façade systems on-site.
Conduct structural analysis and oversee performance testing of façade systems.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
Implement quality control procedures for façade design, materials, and installation.
Perform regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to design specifications and standards.
Address and resolve any issues or defects related to façade systems.
Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in façade design and construction.
Bachelor's degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering or a related field.
15 years of experience in leading structural engineering teams on construction sites with Facade experience.
In-depth knowledge of structural codes, standards, and regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
