CSIG explores interactions between users and industries to create innovative solutions for smart industries using technologies such as cloud, AI, and network security. It drives digitalization across retail, medical, education, transportation, and other sectors, helping companies serve users more intelligently and building a new ecosystem connecting users and businesses.
What the Role Entails
- Collaborate with channel partners to promote cooperative selling in the market.
- Understand customers’ businesses and build relationships with key decision-makers.
- Demonstrate knowledge of customers' industry positions, partner strategies, needs, and profitability drivers.
- Enhance partner performance through best practices, training, and support.
- Present Tencent Cloud's value proposition and lead key sales pipelines.
- Utilize networking skills to generate leads and identify strategic solution-based sales opportunities.
- Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and guidance on enterprise accounts and contribute to sales and marketing collateral.
- Partner with the Business Contracts Manager on contract negotiations.
- Achieve and exceed sales goals, sustain revenue growth, and provide account growth recommendations.
- Prepare and execute strategic account plans, reports, forecasts, and meet quotas.
- Gain proficiency in Tencent’s cloud offerings to understand customer needs and deliver solutions.
- Develop partner plans based on industry trends (FSI, Manufacturing & Energy, Pan-Internet, ISV) and customer analysis.
- Work closely with Solutions Engineers to ensure partners gain value from their investments.
- Manage the partner sales lifecycle for all accounts.

- 10+ years’ experience selling IT and cloud services, with a track record of market/customer/channel breakthroughs.
- “Hunter” mentality with strong closing ability.
- Proven success in generating leads, pursuing opportunities, and selling.
- Experience engaging with C-level executives and working with partner organizations at that level.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, effective at all organizational levels.
- Strong technological sensibility and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in consultative and insight-based selling.
- Ability to articulate complex solutions to decision-makers and executives.
- Proven revenue growth and account management skills.
- Knowledge of Cloud, CDN, SaaS industries, and internet space.
- Experience analyzing data, trends, and markets to develop sales strategies.
- Experience collaborating with consulting, channel, and ISV partners to accelerate business outcomes.
- Ability to work well in teams and build partnerships.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Continuous learner of new products, technologies, and communication skills.
- Diplomatic and comfortable managing complex partner conversations.
- Aptitude for engaging and influencing C-level stakeholders.
