About the role:

We are looking for exceptional systems & software engineers who love to solve complex security problems from first principles. This role involves project work, operational duties such as detection engineering and incident response, and the opportunity to make a tangible impact on security at Almosafer. Responsibilities:

1. Build, deploy, and maintain large-scale security systems across our ecosystem.
2. Research, innovate, and improve our security capabilities through new and enhanced tooling.
3. Develop automation strategies to reduce manual alert triage.
4. Conduct detection engineering to increase coverage and identify malicious activities across endpoints, infrastructure, networks, and cloud environments.
5. Investigate alerts and potential incidents end-to-end, including digital forensics, malware analysis, and threat intelligence.
6. Lead incident response efforts and collaborate with multiple teams to respond to intrusion attempts and suspicious activities.
7. Participate in red team exercises and threat simulations to identify gaps and improve team skills.

Profile Requirements:

• Strong programming skills in Python and/or Go.
• Practical experience with BeyondCorp or ZeroTrust security models.
• Proven expertise in detection and response areas such as digital forensics, malware analysis, incident management, intrusion detection, network telemetry, threat intelligence, and threat hunting.
• Understanding of operating system internals (macOS, Windows, Linux), including file and disk structures, forensic processes, security controls, scripting, and binary investigations.
• Advanced knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes, GCP), including building, deploying, and investigating security events.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in incident response, detection engineering, or related security disciplines.
