Job Purpose:

The Senior Specialist – Interline & SPA is responsible for facilitating cargo cooperation/partnerships with other airlines to generate partnership revenues. This involves identifying potential airline partners, managing interline pricing for a range of products, promoting seamless global sales capabilities to gateway points, capitalizing on additional business opportunities, segmentation, and improving load factors.

Job Specific Accountabilities:

  1. Support the development of potential cargo partnerships with carriers that offer long-term network benefits to Saudia Cargo.
  2. Review and identify RFQs received from the commercial team for worldwide origins/destinations, and manage submission of offers considering existing pricing and minimum requirements in the required format.
  3. Support in studying and analyzing interline market data, benchmarking, and performing business analysis to secure new business opportunities and maintain existing accounts.
  4. Provide expertise and high-level consultation on resolving complex pricing interline cases and rules.
  5. Assist in conducting interline market research to minimize cargo costs for delayed shipments.
  6. Review legal, financial, and technical aspects of concluding special prorate agreements between Saudia Cargo and partner airlines.
  7. Support and facilitate negotiations to conclude special prorate agreements with other airlines.
  8. Ensure compliance with rules and procedures for prorating cargo air waybills.
  9. Highlight and monitor special prorate agreement termination dates for renegotiation with interline partners.
  10. Support Revenue Management and Customer Excellence departments with data to resolve delayed shipment issues.
  11. Act as a point of contact and provide support to all Saudia Cargo stations for forwarding/receiving cargo beyond the SV network.
  12. Review and recommend amendments to IATA TACT Rules based on updated carrier and country information to ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Aviation Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4–6 years of experience in a similar role or field.
