Job Purpose:

The role holder is responsible to optimize distribution operations through data analysis, efficient planning, cross-functional collaboration, performance reporting, process improvements, supplier management, logistics oversight, quality assurance, and performance metric measurement to ensure timely deliveries and enhance customer satisfaction.

Job Accountabilities:

  • Analyze sales and inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and make informed distribution decisions.
  • Implement distribution plans to ensure timely delivery of products to customers while minimizing costs.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and logistics teams to align distribution strategies with overall business goals.
  • Prepare reports on distribution performance metrics, highlighting areas for improvement and presenting findings to management.
  • Identify and implement process improvements within the distribution network to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any supply chain issues.
  • Overseeing the transportation of goods, including shipping arrangements and tracking shipments.
  • Ensuring that products meet quality standards upon delivery and addressing any discrepancies.
  • Measuring distribution performance metrics, such as delivery times and customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Marketing or related field.
  • A minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in the same or similar field.
