Saudi Arabia Based role
Responsibilities of a Splunk Presales Consultant include:
  1. Write and deliver excellent presentations, both business-focused and technical.
  2. Demonstrate Splunk solutions to prospects onsite and remotely (via webinars).
  3. Participate in field events, such as conferences and trade shows, to showcase solutions.
  4. Respond to functional and technical elements of tender documents, such as RFIs/RFPs.
  5. Deliver and manage Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements successfully.
  6. Address complex technical and competitive questions and customer concerns.
  7. Develop presales materials, including business cases/ROI and competitive insights.
  8. Collaborate with the presales team to improve practices and processes.
Business Knowledge and Experience
  • Domain expertise in Big Data, Application Performance Management, Security, Business Intelligence/Web Analytics, or Operational Intelligence.
  • Understanding of financial services, insurance, telecommunications, or retail markets, with experience selling into enterprise organizations.
  • Ability to understand client business challenges, technology, and market drivers.
  • Skill in developing understanding of client operations and industry trends.
  • Knowledge of how Splunk solutions meet business needs.
  • Participation in account planning and opportunity identification.
  • Ability to develop and communicate business value and ROI case studies.
Technical Knowledge and Experience
  • Experience with complex application environments and relevant machine data sources.
  • Knowledge of Log Management and analysis.
  • Hands-on skills with UNIX (HP-UX, Solaris, AIX), Linux, and Windows.
  • Web development skills (XML, HTML5, JavaScript, Java, .NET, Ruby) are advantageous.
Essential Education, Experience, and Skills
  • Minimum of 5+ years of presales experience in enterprise software.
  • Deep knowledge of Saudi Arabia customers.
  • University degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
  • Proactive, self-sufficient, and organized.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Strong understanding of the sales process.
  • Motivated with proven technical sales success.
  • Creative and adaptive problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable in a dynamic, expanding environment.
