Role Overview

As a Senior Solutions Architect at AWS, you will work directly with customers. We seek individuals motivated by the opportunity to work backwards from customer needs and help them gain a competitive edge using AWS. As an experienced technologist and key member of the Account team, you will influence customers' architectural choices across broad use cases involving security, compute, storage, networking, as well as advanced scenarios involving serverless, analytics, and AI/ML.

2. Own technical engagements and ensure the success of specific implementation projects.
3. Develop deep expertise in AWS technologies and broad know-how on application and service construction using AWS.
4. Represent AWS well within customer environments, engaging with senior personnel on trade-offs, best practices, and risk mitigation.
5. Think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.

Minimum Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology domains like software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, security, networking, data & analytics.
• 3+ years in application and infrastructure design, implementation, or consulting.
• 10+ years in IT development or consulting within the software or Internet industries.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
• Experience migrating legacy solutions to the cloud.
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences, including executives.
• Experience in the Enterprise Greenfield space.
