We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to manage projects from sales/installation hand-over to completion and maintenance. The supervisor will lead and manage the installation team to ensure safe, high-quality, on-time delivery of KONE solutions within budget. The role involves acting as the primary interface with customers and stakeholders throughout the project, and supporting the sales team in pre-tender and tender activities as needed.

What will you do?

Site supervision process:

  • Ensure the successful delivery of the installation project.
  • Maintain site safety standards.
  • Manage environmental aspects of the installation efficiently.
  • Oversee the financial outcome of the project.
  • Participate in the sales/installation hand-over and validate order terms with the salesperson.
  • Plan and organize the delivery and storage of materials and tools, and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Prepare the site and monitor site readiness.
  • Ensure the use of correct KONE installation methods throughout the project.
  • Coordinate with Accounts Payable/Controlling to align site activities with contractual payment terms.
  • Oversee final testing and handover of equipment to maintenance.

Customer and Sub-contractor Relationship Management:

  • Ensure customer satisfaction and installation quality.
  • Manage subcontractor quality and safety performance.
  • Serve as the main contact for the customer during installation, managing communication and site management.
  • Develop and manage the performance and wellbeing of the site team.
  • Set objectives, plan, communicate, control, and motivate the team.
  • Identify training needs and manage training plans for field operatives.

Are you the one?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5 to 7 years of proven experience in the elevator and escalator industry.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with high-rise building projects.
  • Strong project management skills with a successful track record.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Proficient in communication and negotiation with contractors, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, especially regarding design standards, safety, and regulations.
